Ashton brings a comprehensive knowledge set to her role as Business Director. Growing up with impactful history teachers and as the daughter of a home builder in eastern North Carolina, she attended the University of South Carolina and earned a Bachelor of Arts in History. After discovering her propensity for marketing while working for a boutique hotel in Charleston, SC, she sought to combine her passions for home design, history and business development, and moved to the DC area where she joined the marketing team at a high-end design build firm.
“Growing up with such high regard for architecture and the history that each place holds, I feel passionately about preserving the beauty and magnifying the possibilities of each space,” Ashton says. “Working with a company with the same respect for timeless architectural design makes my job incredibly rewarding.” When not at work, Ashton’s free time is spent renovating the 1950s home she and her husband, Joe, purchased in West Chester. She also enjoys traveling, walks with her rescue white lab, Goose, or reading at home with her cat Purdy.
